philadelphia where it is been kind of warm today. untreat untreated surfaces and bridges and overpasses is most likely the problem. as you have been showing t, the leading edge of the snow has not budged all day. a few flakes earlier today, it kind of backed off. it is going to take a while before it starts moving again. right on the edge of allentown and in redding, and it is still there. the back edge is really is not moving much. it is still kind of a fairly wide band, actually goes all the way to texas. just has not metrovioved yet. gotten into the mid-40s and philadelphia and much of new jersey today. the roads are in the warmer side. you can see much, much colder, those areas much more vulnerable. it is near the freezing mark now but as the snow moves in, it will lock the temperatures down, we have all night to cool the roads. when roads are coolest, that's
6:19 pm
when it is most likely to stick. so 40 degrees at philadelphia internationals. 42 at port richmond. it is only 37. these areas have the best chance of seeing slick conditions in the morning with the snow coming down. you can see the snow area eventually starting to move but it may very well start to rain in philadelphia on i-95 corridor. roads will be wet and then as the snow comes in, the temperatures start coming down, they're not crashing or else, we would be in much bigger trouble. by the morning rush, temperatures you can see below freezing, it is still snowing, although it is tapering off pretty much at that time. so, we are going the see a limited amount of problems and as you can see these areas of white, we'll get rain changing into some zmoe nsnow and not afg
